We went to a dual birthday party today with a science theme.
We put together little gift baskets for the boys The rocket and water balloon launcher are popular with the 6-year-old crowd. I think we give Story Cubes with every gift for one of Hank's friends. The glow-in-the-dark ring toss and science experiment in a box were dollar scores. Finally, we finished the gifts off with some Gobstoppers and Pop Rocks, which seemed like good candy choices for a science-themed present.
They had the kids do a lot of cool experiments -- most I hadn't seen before. They also had a science-based show, which the kids enjoyed a lot.
