Good enough to eat

This project was influenced by two of my favorite crafters - Amy got the idea in my head to try my hand at making my own bath products. And then Kathy posted the directions for bath fizzy cupcakes just when I was in need of a special thank you gift.

The cupcakes are a-mazing. Truly almost good enough to eat. I think the fizzy base will work really well based on how the residue cleaned up. The frosting - I don't think it is going to melt on contact with the water - perhaps more of a slow release. The scents (Salty Caramel Ice Cream and Butter Creme) and coloring (Girlie Pink) as well as other key ingredients were bought from this website.

Packaged up and ready to ship to two women that deserve a dozen dozen thank you bath fizzy cupcakes

There is another thank you that is due. That is to you, dear readers. It appears I missed my 4 year Blogiversary last month. I really want to thank you all for your support, especially now that I am not posting as frequently. Please leave a comment to be entered in a giveaway of a bath fizzy cupcake plus a few other bath products I have been whipping up this past week!

Even after you said a few times that they were bath fizzies, I still wanted one! I would not be able to help myself from tasting them if I were making these. I hope you mentioned at least 3 times not to eat them, because if I were them I'd be munching right away, they look so delicious!

They look just like a yummy cupcake! I know if I set the box on my kitchen counter, my husband would probably pick one up and try to eat it!

These definitely look more than good enough to eat! I almost don't believe you that they're bath fizzies! Great job! I really enjoy your blog, even though I have not been reading(lurking) for anywhere close to 4 years. Congratulations on your blogiversary!

I was fooled, too...I can't believe those aren't edible. They look divine. But I love a decadent scented bath *almost* as much as I love a real cupcake, so I am doubly entranced!

You are amazing! Don't put me in the drawing 'cause I'm overseas and that would be atrocious in price to mail, but I wanted to tell you what a fabulous job you did! Happy blogiversary.
