It's like buttah, er - Butter

Well, as expected, I failed in meeting my self-imposed goal of having a giveaway a day until Valentine's Day. Please forgive me! The last two days were a total nightmare. Highlights included a business trip that required me to wake up at 3:00 a.m. and getting home at 11:45 p.m., two priority projects that came in Friday a.m. that would take a *normal* employee a week to complete but were due for me, Superwoman, at c.o.b., and finding a lump the size of a golf ball in my neck. The lump is apparently the result of my last business trip, undertaken when I was still in the midst of the flu. All the crap from my head drained into a single lymph node. Wonderful. The priority projects were completed (bring on the brownie points). And, the business trip wasn't so bad having two entertaining co-workers to keep me company.

Also at the airport, I saw this little oasis

A London-based nail salon called Butter that is setting up shop in airports across the U.S. Thursday evening I was more inclined to spend my money on booze than pampering, but I will definitely plan to get my nails done here the next time I am faced with a delayed flight.

I wanted to buy you a bottle of Butter nail polish, but it was a little pricey. So, I chose another London brand, Rimmel. Here is a little nail pack that could be yours just by leaving a comment!

And the winner of the 80s cd is Marlo! I am so tickled that you are from DBQ. Coincidence, or through a family member, I wonder?

An in-airport manicure is like delayed flight therapy. Wouldn't that be a fantastic consolation for a late flight?

Thank you for my surprise new year's gift! You are so sweet. I am so busy packing up my old office after nine years of working there, but as soon as I make the move to my new job, I'll post a proper thank you!

Born and raised in DBQ. Do you know someone from there? And I am thrilled about the CD!

Isn't it nice to find these little oasis spots in the middle of our chaotic existences? Congrats on getting the work done! Sounds like you really ARE superwoman!
