Leaving Marrakech

The tiki room slowly continues to develop, but it is time to say goodbye to another destination in our house: our Moroccan-themed bedroom

It's time for something a little more grown-up, including a bed for grown-ups. I don't know if it is a testament to our marriage, or to our cheapness, but BT and I have been sleeping on my full-sized bed from college since we got married. Yeah - and we are not tiny people either. Add to the mix a chihuahua that prefers to sleep lengthwise between us, and two cats that squeeze themselves into the last 2 square inches of space left and we have one crowded bed.

The bed, king-sized mattress (!), and dressers are all on their way, but on backorder. That will give us plenty of time to figure out how to cover up our curry yellow walls and sangria red ceiling. What were we thinking?

Oh boy, once you go king size everything else feels like you're sleeping in a matchbox! You'll love all the room you have now!

Oh my God -- I can't believe that you & BT are still married after sleeping in a full size bed for that long. GB & I have to sleep in a full size when we visit my parents and after two days, we're ready to go medieval on each other.

King size! King size!

We started our marriage with my full mattress. I dare say it almost killed my marriage especially in the heat of summer. The KING IS KING! Oh you will just love it!!! And, surprisingly it doesn't take up too much room either.

I hope you have good memories about Morocco and Marrakech. This place is unforgetable. Morocco is a beautiful country, with its ancient towns, coastal resorts and snowy peaks. This North African kingdom boasts 1,400 miles of coastline, year-round sunshine and an open invitation to tourists and investors all over the world. Hope you will be happy in new place also.
