Lunch with a Queen

She's gotten older, but she is still a queen

She carries herself with poise and confidence

But, like all of us, she is not immune to the effects of time

I can only hope people still notice all of her lovely jewels

and her secrets

Or, do they only see her slow demise?

Now she is lonely,

broke, and just biding her time.

I still love to meet up with her from time to time to sit and enjoy our city together

Oh, I remember visiting the Queen Mary when I lived in LA. I didn't realize you were in Southern California.

Lovely photos!!!! You know, as I sat and watched the film 'Titanic' in the theatre years ago, I was remembering what it felt like to walk the halls and up the staircase and on the wide decks of the Queen Mary. It must have been a grand experience when she was new and sliding across the sea.
Thank you for bringing back wonderful childhood memories!

I love the Queen. We were married there several years ago. Her chapel was perfect for a very small wedding and we have a great photo taken from above as the whole party looks up. And dinner at Sir Winston's are a special treat. I am hoping someone will care for her as she deserves!
