Christmas Eve Wishes (#2)

This will be short and sweet - I appreciate that my parents have a reasonable grasp on technology, and I usually don't feel completely isolated from the world when we are here. But tonight, though they claim to have DSL, I am finding my online experience has a year 1999 dial up feel to it.

Last night celebrating an early Christmas Eve with BT's family was very nice. BT's cousin played Santa, as BT had a cold, and didn't think that would play into the Santa image very well. The kids were all very excited this year to see him. We got to see our new niece, Abigail, and participate in the general chaos of the 5 older kids opening their gifts.

From BT's mom this year, the daughters received a very special gift

She wrote out a lot of the family favorite recipes, like Peanut Butter Buckeye Balls, Viva La Chicken, and a spareribs recipe that would convert a vegetarian. A very cherished gift...

One more post tomorrow to reach 25! Hope you are all enjoying your time with family and friends!
