The Stockings Were Hung...

Not by a chimney, but hung nonetheless for this picture

BT's family has these amazing stockings that his Grandma made before she passed, and now are made by his aunt for new arrivals to the family. I love the design, and even the newest stockings somehow instantly have a vintage look to them. The stockings are filled with an orange, nuts, a candy cane, chocolate, a toy, and 1-2 "necessities." BT is dressing up as Santa this year for our nieces and nephews, and will give out the stockings on Christmas Eve. The kids (aged 6 months to 4 1/2 years) will either be thrilled or terrified, or a little of both. In the meantime, it has been fun to shop for stocking stuffers (yes, we really have that many people in our family...)

Oh, and look who else is getting into the Christmas spirit

Chuy the Pink-Nosed Reindeer Chihuahua! As per usual, our dog, who in his mind is a person, cannot stand to wear any ornamentation that evokes peals of laughter from his owners. You can almost hear him singing in his head "It's the most humiliating time of the year..."
